HoursTracker is a professional and efficient time tracking app that offers a variety of features to make time entry and editing a painless experience. With its quick and easy timers, you can effortlessly record your time, including support for breaks and pauses. The app also allows you to track your pay, including tips, mileage, and flexible time and earnings adjustments.
One of the standout features of HoursTracker is its flexibility. You can start, stop, break, or pause the timer at any time, according to your needs. Additionally, the app offers job location settings, which can provide clock in and out reminders or fully automate your time tracking through geofencing.
Manually entering time entries is made simple with the app's smart and adaptive defaults. You can also include comments of any length with your time entries and include them in your exports if desired. HoursTracker even allows you to control timers, dictate comments, and apply tags using your Apple Watch.
HoursTracker goes beyond basic time tracking with its advanced features and customization options. It automatically calculates daily and weekly overtime earnings and provides built-in reports by day, week, and month. The app also offers robust tagging and filtering capabilities, allowing you to create custom views.
In terms of convenience, HoursTracker offers helpful reminders when you've reached your target number of hours per day, taking time rounding into account. It even has automatic time rounding options like rounding up, down, or to the nearest 6 minutes.
The app saves you time by allowing you to easily copy existing jobs or time entries. It also includes a today widget for quick access to time and pay monitoring. Exporting your data is seamless with options for CSV or formatted text export via email or the iOS Share Sheet.
To ensure the security of your data, HoursTracker provides passcode lock with Touch ID and Face ID support. Additionally, the app offers cloud-based backup and restore with a free reusable backup slot.
In addition to the app, HoursTracker provides web-based reporting access with charts, graphs, desktop exports, and rolling backups available through an optional subscription.
For a personalized experience, you can customize your HoursTracker settings in the Preferences section. This includes selecting how many jobs you want to clock in at a time, opting for prompts for comments, and choosing an elapsed time format.
The "Free Edition" of HoursTracker allows storage of up to 3 jobs and 21 days of entries. If you need unlimited entries, you can upgrade to the "Personal" edition (up to 5 jobs) or the "Pro" edition (unlimited jobs). Alternatively, you can continue using the "Free Edition" by erasing older data until you're ready to purchase an upgrade.
